I love summertime sessions! The grass is so green and pretty and it makes color photos so vivid. Of course it helps when you have two pretty little blue-eyed girls to take photos of. Big sister B just turned two and baby A is six months old. They are both as sweet as can be (and they love their mama!)

I think Blake might have the bluest eyes that I’ve ever seen. They are just so gorgeous and clear! And he’s such a sweet little chunky monkey. I do love a chubby baby. He tried to give away all his smiles before I ever got the camera out, but his mom and dad and I worked hard to get a few more out of him during our session. Enjoy the sneak peek!

It was so great to see my sweet little blondies again! They were some of my very first clients after I opened my studio, and I’ve been happy to watch them grow up over the past couple of years. We had a great session even though the surprise rain threatened to ruin it. We met at Henderson Village in Perry and walked around their grounds. It’s so beautiful there, and lots of places for us to have adventures.

Maisy just turned four and has perfected her smile-for-the-camera face. I think she liked being a little model!

Liam is two, and like most two-year-old boys, he wasn’t too interested in getting his picture made. Until I wanted to take Maisy’s picture, that is! Then he would turn the smiles on for me!

Meet Jack! He’s one of the newest newborns I’ve even gotten to take photos of. He was just eight days old the day I took his photos. And he was so alert! A little too alert…I had to leave for a while so he could settle down and go to sleep. But when I returned he was snoozing like a champ. So sweet!

Whew! That was a lot of sneak peeks today. This weekend was busy!

This is my third year in a row taking Elise’s birthday pictures. This year she’s turning seven, and she’s having a waterslide party to celebrate. How fun!

I told Elise’s mom that I always love to take her pictures because she’s so pretty and so photogenic. It’s always a fun session. And this year, Elise had her own ideas for the shoot…hmmm, how many more years before I can hire her as my assistant?

Another graduate from my baby plan (sniff, sniff.) Nicholas gave me a run for my money this time, too. He’s on the move and fast! He’s got the sweetest smile…I love it when babies get all their bottom teeth in. It’s so cute.

I love Eden. Chubby babies are the greatest, plus she has the prettiest, pinkest lips — I just want to squish her!

But, I must admit that Eden here was not too impressed with me Saturday. I don’t know why…clearly I’m awesome, but I guess the new ability to walk is far more interesting than me! Her parents say she’s only been walking for three weeks, but believe me, she’s really good at it. I did a lot of chasing this session!

The princess rests for a minute before making me chase her some more.

This session is a prime example of why I love Facebook! I got back in touch with my old friend Crystal, and then I got a chance to take photos of her beautiful daughters and got to spend some time with her and her mom. I was so excited to meet these girls!

Sienna is so cute and sassy! Look at that beautiful smile. She is a sweet little giggle monster.

Vica in her First Communion dress. I think that Vica might literally be the friendliest child I’ve ever met. She’s a real charmer…so outgoing and funny. She and Claire were instant buddies. It was such a treat to see her family!

I’m wrapping up my 2010 senior sessions! I think Joel here may be my last one. You know, I think that if I were 15 years younger, I would want to hang out with Joel. This was an exciting weekend for us! We got to go visit some great friends of ours and see their precious new baby girl, MK (and let’s not forget their precious big girl, V!) We always have so much fun with them, and I’m so honored to get to take photos of their beautiful family.

V is such a sweet big sister! She loves that baby.
