What a crew! Five brothers with one cousin thrown in for good measure. There is no lack of energy around their house for sure. I love them all — couldn’t pick a favorite if I tried!

I’ll be so glad when it cools off and the mosquitoes and gnats stop bothering us! This session was hot and buggy, but the boys handled it like little troopers. Big brother Peyton is almost five and sooo funny and talkative. He made fast friends with my dad and told him that I’d been taking his picture since he was zero. (I think it was actually around age 2, but who’s counting?) And baby Ryan is just a little chunk of love…isn’t he just the cutest thing?

I had a great session this week with these three brothers in their grandmother’s absolutely beautiful backyard. Turns out that teenage boys don’t particularly love having their pictures made. Shocker, right? The only one that really wanted his picture made was Zeke, the puppy! But we finally came to an agreement that they didn’t have to smile…they just had to look pleasant. And obviously they are handsome whether they want to smile or not.

It was so sweet to see how these two brothers acted around each other. (Sorry, Hunter, you probably don’t want to hear that you were sweet, but you were!) And I could tell that Brantley just loves to be with his big brother. Just look at that first picture…that’s love right there. Thank you guys for a fun session…glad we got it in before it got so hot!

Another session with one of my favorite families! These boys are so sweet and cute. I told the older one that he was doing a great job, and he solemnly replied, “I know.” He cracked me up! And his little brother is in non-stop motion, but we managed to keep him still for just a few snaps.

I took photos for these handsome boys this weekend to commemorate the younger brother’s first communion. They were great sports about posing in their suits, but as you can imagine, they were ready to ditch their fancy threads in order to play some backyard football and hang out with their dog, Storm. Good thing I was there to capture that, too!

This session was a trip down memory lane. James, the older son, was the very first baby I ever photographed (besides Claire, of course!) He was six months old at the time, and now he’s five and a half and just started kindergarten. Time sure does fly. His little brother John is almost two and I could just eat him up, too. So we were a little behind on Landon’s one year pictures, but that’s how it usually goes with a second baby! Landon is fourteen months old, and he’s so sweet. He was giving me some big grins even though he didn’t really feel good. He looks pretty happy considering he was a little sick, huh?

We have a picture of his big brother doing this with the same chair at his one-year session!

And speaking of his big brother Chandler, we couldn’t let the session go by without getting some pictures of him, too.

Here are some of my favorite boys back for another session with me. Landon (the little one) never stopped smiling the whole time he was with me, and Chandler tried to play shy when he first got here, but he was ready to go once we got outside.

His smile was this big the whole time!

I think Chandler may be a ladies’ man. He was cutting his eyes at me!

See, I told you he was constantly like this! He was one happy boy!
