Tickets may be purchased through any WRJWL member, but slots are limited, so act fast! Your $35 session fee will go towards helping families and kids in our community.

This is my last mini-session event of the year, and it’s a limited opportunity. There will be only twelve slots for this special, so book now!

These 15-minute mini-sessions can include up to five people, and you’ll get 6 to 8 proofs to choose from. This is a great opportunity to get some adorable photos in your kids’ Halloween costumes, or to go ahead and get some Christmas card photos made.

When: Thursday, October 28th from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., and from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Where: On location in Bonaire (directions supplied after session is booked and paid)

How to book: Use the blog contact form to contact me for payment info and available appointments. You must pay in advance to book your slot.

Cost: The sessions are $75 and include 2 5x7s and 8 wallets of your favorite pose. Additional poses or larger prints can be purchased later if you want.

Limitations: Because these are mini-sessions and not full sessions, we will not have time for wardrobe changes…just one outfit per person, please.

How to Enter

Dig through all those photos on your computer and find your favorite recent picture of your little dumpling. All boys up to size 24 months and girls up to size 6 are eligible. (Snapshots only, please. No professional photos will be considered.)

Email that picture to info@lindleysphotography.com before Wednesday, October 6^th at midnight EST. Be sure to include your name, contact info, and your child’s name.

On October 7^th, send all of your friends and family to Facebook to vote for your kiddo.

The entries with the most votes by October 16^th will win some great photo prizes AND be featured on the walls of Butterfly Kisses! Keep reading…

What You Win

Six finalists (the top three boys and the top three girls) will receive a free 20-minute session with Alicia McDonald Photography and Lindley’s Photography (modeling clothes from Butterfly Kisses), plus an 8×10 of their favorite image from the session.

The free sessions will be held Saturday, October 23^rd in the Middle Georgia area.

The six finalists will be put to another vote, and three GRAND PRIZE winners will receive a $25 gift certificate to Butterfly Kisses and a CD of their session images (6 to 8 fully edited photos). PLUS, a large print of your child will hang on the wall at Butterfly Kisses!

How to Vote

First, you need to “Like” the Facebook fan pages of Butterfly Kisses, Lindley’s Photography and Alicia McDonald Photography.

Then, beginning October 7^th, click on the “Photos” tab on each fan page to find the Butterfly Kisses Model Search gallery. Find the photo you want to vote for, and click the “Like” button under that picture. That’s it!

You can vote THREE TIMES for each picture – once on the Butterfly Kisses fan page, once on Lindley’s Photography fan page, and once on Alicia McDonald Photography’s fan page.

The photos with the most “Likes” (combined total of all three fan pages) by the end of the contest will be our finalists!

The Fine Print

1. Only one photo entry per child.
2. Though you may enter multiple children, there can be only one winner per household.
3. Entries will be accepted through Wednesday, October 6^th at midnight EST.
4. We reserve the right to reject photos that we deem inappropriate.
5. By submitting your photo to our contest, you give us permission to post the photo on our Facebook fan pages for the duration of the voting period.
6. Voting will begin Thursday, October 7^th and will end Wednesday, October 13^th at 7:00 pm EST, at which time the six finalists will be announced.
7. From the six finalists, the grand prize winners will be the top girl, the top boy, and the next highest vote-getter of either gender.

The photos are printed on lightly textured watercolor paper for a unique appearance.

I have several different template designs to choose from for baby, kids, families, or seniors.

The album comes with a padded brown or black cover, but you can upgrade to a custom photo cover.

I absolutely love this new product…it’s a great way to get all your favorite images from your session.

What do you get?
A CD of all the proofs from your session. They will be exactly as you first saw them in your proofing gallery.

Why might you want these now?
They can be printed up to size 5×7 so they would be perfect for scrapbooks and albums. More importantly, this is an excellent opportunity to keep your photos on file in case something happens to your originals.

Who is eligible for the sale?
The sale is for any regular portrait session or baby plan session that took place before December 31, 2008.

How long will they be on sale?
The sale ends at 5:30 on Friday, February 5th.

Every session this year will get its own sneak peek blog post…not just when I have the time.  (I’m so bad about that, I know.)  And here’s the fun part for you:  Pass the link on to your friends and family, and if you get 10 comments on your sneak peek, you’ll get a freebie of some sort.  The freebies might change depending on the time of year, but we’ll start off the year with a free small print (your choice of a 4×6, 5×7 or sheet of wallets.)

I have my first sessions of the year booked and ready to go tomorrow (unless the weather interferes), so I hope to kick off this program next week.

And because I hate to post without a picture, here’s a photo of my daughter during Christmas.  She was so excited this year…she kept saying that it was the best Christmas ever!

Just to keep you updated:  The deadline for sessions if you need your prints back by Christmas is Saturday, November 21st.  Weekends are already booked, but I have a very limited number of weekday session times left for 2009, so please book as soon as possible if you want a slot.

In addition, I will be closed November 25th through November 30th for Thanksgiving and December 19th through January 7th for Christmas.

I’m kicking off 2009 with some big changes!  My studio is running full speed now, and I want to take advantage of it.  Here are some major changes you’ll see:

• New offerings – Matting and framing is now offered, as well as several new lines of albums.
• Studio viewings – Beginning in February, you’ll be able to view your proofs in the studio in a large format.  You can see much more detail than on your computer screen, and I’ll be there to help you with your decisions!
• Digital Files — This is a biggie!  For the first time ever, I am going to offer full-resolution digital files as part of a package.  Purchase the digital package and have full reproduction rights on your images.
• Freebies –  My new “Freebies” program gives you great products for free when you spend $250 or more.  (More details on this soon!)
